Fitness At Home

During this period of lockdown, we want to share some good, practical advice on keeping active, both physically and mentally. For over 22 years, we’ve been here to keep the city of Edinburgh healthy and active. Now is no different.

Our venues may be temporarily closed, but we can still help you look after your health and Find Your Feel Good. We all know the benefits of exercise and, now especially, we need to be more creative with our choice of activity and equipment. Join us in getting active and staying active over the next few weeks and bring a piece of Edinburgh Leisure into your home

Take a look at our Coronavirus Updates page for FAQs and updates on when we will be reopening. Across our 30+ venues, we’ve got a whole range of activities for all ages and abilities and we can’t wait to welcome you back to join in the fun.

We’re proud to be offering £70 off RRP on Myzone belts. Rack up points and stay active from home, then you’ll be ready to use your belt in one of our venues when we reopen. Myzone straps are worn across the chest and helps to track every ounce of effort through heart rate. The data is then used in a simple points system, called MEPS (Myzone Effort Points) so users can track their workouts and feel a sense of satisfaction and achievement. Use the code EBLUK000-70 when registering your belt.

If you're working from home, you might find certain muscles and areas of your body getting tight. It's important to stay on top of these things and stretch off whenever possible. To help you do so, we've compiled a PDF featuring easy stretches which you can do from your desk. Give these a go next time you take a short break and let us know how you get on!
